Student Health Professional/Resident Rotations
We are now offering opportunities for MD/DO, PharmD, NP students, and Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Resident Doctors from accredited U.S. schools or hospitals to have rotations at Wynn Medical Center.
Selected students/residents will have access to our state-of-the-art electronic medical record program and telemedicine program. We also will provide diagnostic and interventional ultrasound demonstrations. Our clinic will allow students to learn from a variety of practices as well as Vietnamese Medical Terminology. We are looking for students who have a strong desire to interact with patients from a diverse patient population, that have mixed disease pathology.
Many of our patients are from the Vietnamese community and can only speak Vietnamese. We prefer that our students be able to communicate with our patients. Therefore, some level of proficiency in the Vietnamese language is a desired qualification that we are seeking from our volunteers.
Wynn Medical Center is a proud teaching affiliate program of Western University College of Pharmacy and California Northstate University College of Medicine. Students from these respective universities will be given strong consideration.

Please contact _____________ to request an elective rotation at Wynn Medical Center. As of now, we only accept students from U.S. accredited schools (e.g., Medical school, Nursing School, Physician Assistant School) and typically will respond to emails within 5-7 business days unless there are high volumes of emails. We would like to accept as many students as possible, but due to COVID-19, we have limited spaces available for student volunteers and interns to accommodate CDC safety guidelines.
When emailing, please type out "Elective Rotation Request" in the subject line. Within 400 words or less, briefly introduce yourself and state the school you are enrolled in. Tell us why you would like to have rotations at Wynn Medical Center and why you are a good candidate for our program.
